a little bit about me
I woke up in my early 30s realizing I needed to be my own “teacher” because the most important things were never taught in school: how to be in healthy relationships, manage our money, identify and pursue work we’re passionate about, create true physical health and balance, and opt into a path of lifelong learning.
I learned a lot of this the hard way—and I’m still a grateful, hopeful, and excited work-in-progress.
This site was built to let you in on my journey—toward optimal health, wellness, financial freedom, career fulfillment, adventure, and love. I hope what you find here inspires you to live your fullest life, and design the life of your dreams with greater ease and joy.
I remember being a teenager thinking about what my life was going to be like by the time I turned 30. I’d have a deeply fulfilling career and be earning a ton of money (which, of course, I’d be totally responsible with). I would be married to the love of my life. I would own a big home and go on frequent luxurious vacations. I’d be super healthy, with my “ideal” body and constantly high energy. I would love myself fully, and wake up each day with tons of motivation.
Looking back at that vision, I can’t help but chuckle. Of course, life isn’t a perfection checklist to master. Instead, it’s a never-ending, iterative journey with highs and lows. And here’s the craziest part: We spend one to two decades in school, but aren’t taught the basics about living a life of joy, purpose, health, and freedom.
